WorldCat record id: 83593410 Noah Brooks was born 1830 Oct. 30 in Castine, Me., and died 1903 Aug. 16 in Pasadena, Calif. He worked in the newspaper business in various capacities and was a writer of children's books, along with historical and biographical works, including Tales of the Maine Coast.
